Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the relationship between “TOPOQRAF AZ” LLC (Tax ID 4701991871, the “Company”) and the persons who use the topoqraf.az website, the domains redirected to it and the Topoqraf.az Android app (together, the “Platform”). By using the Platform you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Definitions
- User — anyone who visits the Platform; Member — a registered User.
- Ad — a Member’s offer to sell or rent surveying equipment or to provide a service.
- Forum — the discussion section for surveyors and engineers.
- Topo Pro — the tool for measuring land, saving points and staking out with a phone or computer.
- Content — texts, images, files and other materials a Member posts on the Platform.
2. General provisions
2.1. The Platform’s services are free. There is no ad promotion, VIP or any other paid service.
2.2. Registration is for persons over 18; a Member registering on behalf of a legal entity confirms they are authorised to do so.
2.3. The Company may change these Terms. A new version takes effect when published on this page; Members are notified in advance of significant changes.
2.4. The Company may temporarily suspend individual sections of the Platform for maintenance or updates.
3. Account
3.1. A Member must give accurate information at registration, confirm the e-mail address and keep the password secret. The Member is responsible for all actions taken in the account.
3.2. Opening an account in the name of another person or organisation in order to mislead others is prohibited.
3.3. A Member may delete the account at any time in the account area (Delete account).
4. Ads
4.1. An ad must concern equipment that actually exists or a service that can actually be provided; the price, condition, set and contact details must be accurate.
4.2. First ads may be reviewed before publication. An ad stays active for 30 days and can then be renewed.
4.3. Prohibited: stolen or counterfeit items, items whose origin is not documented or whose sale is restricted by law; another person’s photos or text; duplicate ads; advertising unrelated to the ad; distribution of classified maps, plans, coordinates and other restricted information.
4.4. The Company is not a party to, intermediary in or guarantor of any deal. The terms of sale, rent and services and the payment (including bank transfer) are agreed directly between the parties. We recommend inspecting equipment before buying and not paying in advance.
4.5. The Company may edit, hide or delete an ad that breaches these Terms without notice.
5. SOUTH catalogue and service orders
5.1. The Company is the official distributor of SOUTH Surveying & Mapping Technology in Azerbaijan. Catalogue information is based on the manufacturer’s materials, is for information only and is not a public offer; price, delivery time and set are agreed separately on request.
5.2. Surveying, topographic and engineering survey works are carried out under the Company’s licence No. EL-845/2026 and a separate contract. Prices shown by the calculator are estimates.
6. Forum
6.1. Be respectful on the forum: insults, sharing personal data without consent, spam and off-topic advertising are prohibited.
6.2. Files you share (LISP, scripts, software) must not contain malicious code or infringe anyone’s copyright. Compiled files are made available after a moderator checks them.
7. Topo Pro
7.1. Measurements taken with a phone’s GPS are approximate (usually ±2–5 m). Topo Pro results do not replace a geodetic survey for cadastral records, land boundaries or other official documents.
7.2. Projects are stored on your device and, for Members, also synced to the server. Keeping an extra copy of important data (PDF, DXF, KML) is the User’s own responsibility.
8. Rights to Content
8.1. You keep the rights to the Content you post. By posting it you give the Company a free, non-exclusive permission to show that Content on the Platform and to adapt its size and format; the permission ends when the Content is deleted.
8.2. The Platform’s design, logo, texts and software belong to the Company. SOUTH and other trademarks belong to their owners.
9. Prohibited actions
It is prohibited to interfere with the Platform’s operation, attempt to hack it, collect data automatically with bots, send bulk messages or use other users’ contact details without their consent.
10. Liability
10.1. The Member who posts an ad or forum post is responsible for its accuracy.
10.2. Unless the law provides otherwise, the Company is not liable for losses arising from deals between users, actions of third parties or temporary unavailability of the Platform.
10.3. The account of a Member who breaches these Terms may be blocked with or without prior notice.
11. Disputes
Disputes are first settled through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, they are heard by the courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan under its legislation.
